For choice and unusual plants grown and sold in a beautiful garden

Anthemis tinctoria 'Sauce Hollandaise' An excellent plant on its own or in drifts. Starting to flower in late May and going on 'til August. Then cut off the top third for re-flowering Sept-Oct. Over winter a low mound of dark green ferny foliage has a presence in the herbaceous border. Creamy, very pale lemon flowers are paler than A. E.C. Buxton with which it goes well. Recommended. I think this is a better garden plant than the commoner A. E.C. Buxton, being tougher resolutely perennial and more floriferous. Came thru the winter of 2010 unscathed. It is a garden essential!
